Gender is not a monolith. There are varied and nuanced arguments for how gender, equity, and power can or should be understood. This discussion brings together a cross-section of practitioners and thinkers to pull apart, breakdown and respond to the reactionary rhetoric, problematic assumptions, and structural and inherent biases that currently shape the discourse around gendered concerns. How might we answer back to our culture of memes, unsavoury comments sections and other prevailing and pejorative belief systems? How do we evolve our understanding through a multi-cultural and intersectional lens? How do we hollaback?
This event takes place in English.
